I want to extend congratulations to the HSCL chess team and, in particular, players Adam Haniff and Joshua Zargarov, who took home the 1st place trophy for our school at CIS Queens Chess Day. Joshua also took home the individual 1st place trophy for the 6-12 NRB section, going undefeated. Also, big shoutout to our HSCL chess instructor Mr. Goodridge.
